scra 2013 entrance exam

First of all i will tell you something about this exam.SCRA commonly known as Special Class Railway Apprentice is conducted by UPSC .After cracking this entrance exam and selection you can do undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering located at Jamalpur.Selected candidates will get a stipend of 9100 and other facilities such as medical care,PTOs , privilege passes . After four year of course candidate can join as a officer in Indian Railways.

Who can apply => 1 ) The candidates have age more then 17 years on January 2013 and not more then 21 years. that means as per rule the applicant should born between 1 January 1996 to 2 January 1992.


2) the candidate have Math as a compulsory subject and one or both subject in Physics and Chemistry.

Exam pattern => SCRA is divided in three parts as follows
(1) General Ability Test
(2) Physical Science
(3) Mathematics
All the questions are MCQs means having 4 choices .Questions having both Hindi and English medium.Each part containing equal maximum marks which is 200.Time duration for each test will be 2 hours.Beware guys this exam also have a negtive marking for wrong answers of  one third which is quite higher compared to JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCE.So here is the time to prove yourself.
